Listen to your body because it has so many signals to help you improve your wellbeing. You may feel a higher sense of purpose, peace, hope, and meaning. You may experience better confidence, self-esteem, and self-control. It can help you make sense of your experiences in life. When unwell, it can help you feel inner strength and result in faster recovery.
Many of us are blessed with a strong intuition and we can detect if something doesn’t seem right. I’ve had experiences of meeting people and their vibe does not sit well with me. If this happens I tend to remove myself from their presence so that I won’t feel uncomfortable.
Have you felt as though something is not right in your relationships with some members of your family or friends? I heard a saying once from the late Bob Proctor. He said that if your vibration is low being around relatives or friends, “Don’t go as often, and don’t stay as long!” In other words you can still visit but make it short!
Are you working too hard? Do you feel stressed, overwhelmed and always tired? This is your body telling you to slow down. If you’re working for an employer, you probably feel the need to work hard to keep your job, but if the company decides to restructure and let some employees go, including you , do you think they’ll appreciate you nearly killing yourself just to keep your job? I don’t think so. In a large company you’re merely a number unfortunately.
I believe it’s perfectly okay to live and work with more joy in your life and this includes at work. In fact it’s what your body needs to thrive and survive. When you choose to reconnect with your body, you’re choosing a new belief around work, rest, play and self-worth — you’re actively rewiring your brain. Reconnecting with your body will help you access a pathway to deeper wisdom, pleasure, joy and more restful living.
